Original Item: Only One Available. We have had very few of these Torpedo Timer type Stop Watches in over 35 years of business in the U.S.A. This one was made by the German WWII Military Contractor Hanhart and is marked on the dial.
This stopwatch is offered in great fully functional condition. The fluted knob on the top controls everything. You wind it up and when you push it in once the single seconds had starts moving immediately. On the second push, the second hand freezes at the time elapsed position. On the third push the timer resets itself to zero ready for reuse.

The inscription on the back indicates that the watch is the property of the SS Riding / Equestrian School located in München-Riem. This was founded for the training of the SS Rider Corps, and was also used for Equestrian Competitions.
The manufacturer of this watch is Hanhart Chronographs, which was founded in 1882 in Diessenhofen, Switzerland, by Johann A. Hanhart. In 1902, operations were moved to Schwenningen in southern Germany, the stronghold of German watchmaking. They produced watches for the German Navy during WW1 and WW2. This model, as indicated on the watchface, has an 3-Jewel movement.
